Outdoor steps are designed using a different criteria than indoor steps. The tread riser relationship needs to be adjusted to fit the spacious feeling of the outdoors, especially when only a few steps are required. The material used is decided during the design process and is often defined by the materials of the architecture and the total project. We have used stone, concrete, wood, timber and steel in our steps projects.
